Equipping ourselves to tackle most jobs is something you learn from experience. The old Scout motto 'Be prepared' stands us in good stead. Getting into the metropolis before the commuters arrive makes good sense. Always being on time for a job is about professionalism, not withstanding delays on public transport or road hold ups. there are times when we would love to have a normal working day, without disruptions and delays or clients changing the brief. But we wouldnt change it for the world.
