Air Ambulance get free pit stops

Harrods Aviation Ltd has agreed to waive all landing charges and handling costs when Essex and Herts Air Ambulance helicopters need to call at the airport. Additionally London Luton Airport has agreed to supply fuel free of charge to the charity whenever they need to come in.

The helicopter Anglia Two, sporting the new livery visited the Airport and the crew met with the Directors of both operations. DWP Imaging were on hand to photograph and capture some dramatic images of the visit which has seen good coverage in the local press.

Since 2000 the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) has flown on almost 23,000 missions and though primarily covering Essex and Hertfordshire they have often been called to emergencies in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
